Ant spent last week climbing Mount Elbrus with the team that he will be climbing Mount Everest with next year.
Elbrus' peak is the highest in the Caucasus Mountains, in Russia, and in Europe and it is the tenth most prominent in the world.
"As it's currently off season for climbing, it was a real hardcore climb, which just made it all the more exciting for me!" said Ant. "I landed back from the Series 2 recce trip in the jungle and headed straight over to Russia to climb Elbrus. It was an extreme climate change and was great preparation for Everest."
Ant documented the climb with photos and Go Pro footage that he will share on antmiddleton.com when he returns from Russia.
He is heading straight off to Switzerland to climb The Matterhorn (Monte Cervino)
